Siempelkamp – Trade Show Planning and Management
Supporting Siempelkamp’s sales of highly specialized wood processing machinery in China, MF Consulting created and delivered a communications program including PR, advertising and trade show initiatives raising the awareness of Siempelkamp’s key products and services in China.
Media research allowed for the identification of relevant B2B media for the placement of stories, whilst thorough negotiations with the publications enabled year-through placement results for Siempelkamp’s new China-specific advertisements designed by MF Consulting. PR materials were copywritten in English and Chinese. Ongoing coverage is being generated amongst key target media, delivered through continuous contact with journalists and monitoring of relevant news across a wide range of channels.
MF Consulting developed and implemented a 250 m2 tradeshow booth and presence to showcase Siempelkamp and its key products and services to Chinese and foreign visitors at the WMF Trade Shows in Beijing, as well as the WoodMac Shanghai trade shows. MF Consulting also created the B2B advertising: a testimonial-campaign to create high attention and an emotional link for the reader.
Film and photo shooting of Siempelkamp’s products was handled by MF Consulting in the run-up to trade shows, to create footage, which was successfully screened on-site during the show. MF Consulting also handled all preparatory steps to ensure smooth and successful tradeshow participation. The booth, which for example featured a life-size section of Siempelkamp’s 4” ContiRoll® Press, was well visited.
MF Consulting also provided professional copywriting of the English website and adaptation of content to fit the China market. It also conducted conducts regular quality check on consistency, correctness and completeness of the Chinese website
